Terms of Service

These terms apply to customwallplates.com and to our store at shop.customwallplates.com. By placing an order you agree to them. Please read them before you buy.

Who you are buying from

This store is operated by Ultra Spec Cable, Inc., 2 Timber Lane #101, Marlboro, NJ 07746. RiteAV is our brand. Where these terms say “we” or “us” they mean Ultra Spec Cable, Inc.

Prices, availability and errors

Prices are in United States dollars and do not include sales tax or shipping unless the page says so. We may change a price at any time, but a change never affects an order we have already accepted.

We list several thousand items and we check our catalog carefully, but a price, a specification or a stock figure can still be wrong. If we find an error on something you have ordered, we will contact you before we ship and you can confirm the corrected order or cancel it for a full refund. Nothing in these terms obliges us to sell at an incorrect price.

Your order

Placing an order is an offer to buy. The confirmation email we send when you order tells you we received it, not that we accepted it. Your order is accepted when we ship it. We may decline an order, in whole or in part, and we will tell you why and refund anything already taken.

We may limit the quantity of any item sold to one customer, and we may decline orders that appear to be for resale where we have not agreed to trade terms.

Payment

Payment is taken when you place your order, through the payment provider shown at checkout. We do not see or store your full card number. You confirm that the payment method you use is yours or that you are authorized to use it.

Shipping and delivery

Shipping costs and options are shown at checkout before you pay. Orders over $100 ship free within the United States.

Delivery dates are estimates, not promises. Once a package is handed to the carrier, the time it takes is in their hands rather than ours. Risk of loss passes to you when the carrier delivers the package. If a package arrives damaged, keep the packaging and tell us within a reasonable time so we can help you with a claim.

Returns

Returns are covered by our Refund and Returns Policy, which is part of these terms. In short: you have 30 days, the item must be unused and in its original packaging, and you must contact us for approval before you send anything back.

Product information and warranty

Product photographs, measurements and specifications come from our suppliers. We reproduce them in good faith, but a photograph is an illustration rather than an exact likeness, and a color can look different on your screen. Where exact dimensions or ratings matter for your installation, ask us before you order.

Items are covered against manufacturing defects. They are not covered against damage from incorrect installation, modification, misuse, or normal wear. Low voltage wiring and electrical work should be done by someone competent to do it, and in line with local codes. We cannot advise on whether a product suits a particular installation.

Using this website

You may browse, buy, and print or save pages for your own use. You may not copy our catalog or any part of this site for republication, scrape it, resell its content, or use it to build a competing listing. You may not attempt to interfere with the site, to access parts of it that are not public, or to use it for anything unlawful.

The text, layout and design of this site, and the RiteAV name, belong to Ultra Spec Cable, Inc. Product names and trademarks that belong to other companies are used only to describe what an item is or what it fits.

Limits on our liability

We stand behind what we sell. What we cannot accept is responsibility for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost income, lost time, or the cost of other work, arising from a product or from this website. To the extent the law allows, our liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for the items in it.

Nothing here limits any right you have that cannot be limited by law.

Which law applies

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, where our company is incorporated, without regard to its conflict of law rules.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version on this page when you place an order is the version that applies to that order. The date below says when we last changed them.
